Safari Run is an unofficial, independent fan-inspired game created by a solo developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected in any way to The Walt Disney Company or any of its subsidiaries.
This game makes use of characters based on the 1928 Steamboat Willie short film, which entered the public domain in the United States on January 1, 2024. The player character and certain enemies are derived from these specific public domain versions of the characters. We have kept their designs as close as possible to the original 1928 public domain appearances while adapting their clothing, gear, and environment to fit a fun safari/explorer adventure theme.
All other original elements (gameplay mechanics, levels, music, code, and additional artwork) are the creation of the developer.
